“He loved doing things right. He even cared about the look of the parts you couldn’t see.” - Steve Jobs

In this quote, taken from Jobs’ biography by Walter Isaacson, he’s talking about how his father inspired his attention to detail and how that carried over to his obsessive attention to detail at Apple. This attention to detail is what many people find enjoyable about Apple products to this day.

ToneBands is founded by two friends who appreciate that attention to detail in our technology, but found it lacking when looking for sport-style bands for our Space Gray Apple Watches.

Sport-style bands are available from countless places online in a wide variety of colors and a wide variety of prices. But all of these bands had one thing in common: They all came with silver latch pins.

The problem, from an obsessive attention to detail perspective, is that not all Apple watches are silver! We had black(-ish) watches and we wanted black(-ish) pins.

And ToneBands was born. We started ordering samples in September, 2016 and half a year later, our watch bands are for sale! Our goal is to eventually provide a full line of Apple Watch bands in a variety of colors with latch pins that will come in not only black but Gold and Rose Gold as well.
